Doctor Arambage was my surgeon for a recent laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. He was very understanding and listened attentively to my medical problem from my first through to my post operative consultation. After the surgery he contacted my partner and assured him that the operation was successful and explained what had occurred. I found that this was very kind from him as my partner could not attend due to COVID restrictions. I feel really lucky to be under the care of such a professional and enthusiastic specialist. Fiona, his secretary, was also really helpful and responded promptly to any questions and queries I had before and after surgery.

After 11 surgeries with another consultant, I was understandably apprehensive in finding and working with another. Dr Arambage was recommended to be by a colleague. He reassured me from the first words of our initial call. His knowledge is extensive, applicable to varying circumstances, he is confident in his expertise whilst willing to discuss and listen to other opinions. He quite simply cares, he took not only the immediate medical requirement into consideration, he took my life into it to - my family, which are always the first consideration for me.

I have been passed around from doctor to doctor over the past 10 years without anyone explaining my pain. It was only when I saw Mr Arambage that everything became clear. He was fantastic and truthful about my condition which turned out to be endometriosis with possible elements of neuropathy and musculoskeletal. A very difficult diagnosis to make. I am a very anxious patient and on the day of my surgery I was totally reassured by him and his team. I trusted them with my life, quite literally, and I’m glad I did. I couldn’t recommend him enough. I am writing this review as I hope it helps someone else who is in the same situation I was.

My consultant Kirana Arambage and his team provided me with fantastic care from my first consultation through to the surgery itself. It makes a huge difference when your consultant listens to you and then works with you to define the next steps. I am grateful to now have someone of his professionalism and experience to reference if I have any further concerns. I would unhesitatingly recommend this consultant and his team to other women.
